DNS Configuration


Setting up the DNS configuration


  1. Go to My Computer, Control Panel, Network
  2. Select the Configuration tab
  3. Choose TCP/IP Dial Up Adapter, then click on Properties
  4. Click on DNS Configuration tab
  5. Check Enable DNS
  6. Host: Enter you login name
  7. Domain: enter familynet.bc.ca
  8. DNS Server Search Order: Enter 209.53.200.2, then click on Add
  9. Enter 209.53.200.3, then click on Add
  10. Domain Suffix Search Order: enter familynet.bc.ca, then click on Add
  11. Click on OK
If you cannot find TCP/IP Dial Up Adapter, you have to add it. Please follow the steps below. If you can find TCP/IP Dial Up Adapter.
  1. Click on Add
  2. Choose Protocol, click on Add
  3. Choose Microsoft, then choose TCP/IP
  4. Click on OK
  5. Click on OK again and then Yes to restart the computer
